Hands on Farm Experience
An extra special Monty's Farm experience
Spend time with one of our farm team with a tour of the farm and our animals. Our hands on farm experience includes:
- get up close and personal with our pygmy goats, alpacas, donkeys, shetland pony and of course highland cows!
- meet our farm team then head around our animal pens helping with some routine daily jobs
- hand feed animals needing fed on the farm
- ask any questions of our farm team as you go!
- get your cameras at the ready to capture super special farm moments!
Tickets include all day entry to Monty's outdoor play.
HAND WASHING FACILITIES ARE AVAILABLE THROUGHOUT
Monty's Hands on Farm Experiences are done in small groups of up to 8 people max in total. If you would like to book for any more or would llike to book a session exclusively for your family or group please pop us a wee email to bookings@montysfarmpark.co.uk
Important bits & bobs to note:
- children must be accompanied and supervised at all times by an adult please - we love seeing and hearing chidlren running around in Monty's but to make sure everyone is safe and our animals are comfortable all guests must be supervised by an adult at all times and stay beside our animal team.
- families are welcome to stay, play and have a run around in Monty's outdoor areas after doing farm jobs and can add a slot in our indoor play barn if you fancy!
- as a working farm our daily jobs and animals needing attention can change so exact activities will vary depending on the day and season.
- it's super important that all participants come dressed appropriately with outdoor clothes or suit that you won't mind the animals touching and welly boots are a must! If you are staying to play afterwards a change of clothes will be super important!
This experience is ideal for guests who love animals, would like to see behind the scenes of our farm and don't mind getting their hands dirty! Adults and children are welcome but we would recommend the experience for children over at least the age of 3.
